PIC team members had the opportunity to travel to Long Beach, CA to participate in the 2023 IANA (Intermodal Association of North America) Expo. This is a once-a-year opportunity for networking, introducing new products/services, and advancing the intermodal supply chain.
PIC staff take advantage of this opportunity to:
- Learn about advances in intermodal industry technology, automation, applications and more—all at one show.
- Network with peers and explore ideas from transportation providers, as well as support services including logistics, warehousing, and staffing.
- Talk directly with the experts about industry trends, milestones, and their outlook.
- Support the next generation of intermodal leaders and develop a pipeline of future talent.
Technology is advancing. Markets are expanding. There is increasing demand for an environmentally sustainable supply chain. To stay on top, there’s no substitute for the one event that brings the entire industry together.
At Intermodal EXPO, we find the widest range of providers and solutions, the industry’s best known thought leaders, and its most relevant discussions. Topics to be tackled include terminal design, transloading, driver productivity, sustainability, regulatory risk, and chassis provisioning – just to name a few.
Custom American Flag edition 40XX-L-2T, 40’ Lightweight Tandem Axle
In addition to team members – we have also taken products along to show the intermodal audience. Anyone who stopped by Booth # 249 at the Expo got an up-close view of our special custom American Flag edition 40XX-L-2T, 40’ Lightweight Tandem Axle. Visitors will also see the first of its kind, PIC exclusive design GN2040-S-2S, 20’/40’ Spread Axle Sliding Chassis. This chassis is capable of hauling 1-loaded 20’, 1-loaded 40’ or 2-empty 20’ ISO containers.
